By downloading, installing, or using The Reminder App (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
- You may use the App for personal, lawful purposes only.
- You are responsible for the information you enter, including reminder content, alarm labels, and hydration logs.
- You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with its operation.
2. Features and Service Scope
The App provides productivity and wellness tools, including:
- Reminders with scheduled notifications.
- Alarms with recurring schedules.
- Hydration tracking and goal setting.
- Pomodoro focus timers.
Features may change or be discontinued without prior notice.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
The App may offer multiple sign-in options. Where available:
- Google sign-in uses Firebase Authentication.
- Email sign-in, if available, may be handled locally within the App and may not verify ownership of the email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access to your device and account.
4. Notifications, Alarms, and Reliability
The App schedules local notifications and alarms on your device. Delivery can be affected by:
- Device permissions.
- Battery optimization or power-saving modes.
- Operating system restrictions and background limitations.
Notifications and alarms are not guaranteed to be delivered at an exact time. Do not rely on the App for emergencies or time-critical safety alerts.
5. Health and Wellness Disclaimer
Hydration tracking and Pomodoro timers are for general wellness and productivity only. They do not constitute medical advice. Always use your own judgment and consult a professional if you have health concerns.
6. Data Storage and Sync
- Reminders, alarms, hydration logs, and settings are primarily stored locally on your device.
- If you sign in, basic profile data (such as user ID, email, display name) and login events may be stored in Firebase/Firestore for account continuity.
- At this time, reminders and hydration logs are not synced across devices.
You are responsible for backing up your data. Uninstalling the App or clearing device storage may remove local data.
7. Advertising
The App may display ads using Google Mobile Ads. Ad content and personalization are controlled by Google and your device or account settings. The App may display non-personalized or personalized ads depending on platform policies and available controls.
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services (such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, and Google Mobile Ads). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
9. Intellectual Property
All App content, branding, and code are the property of the Operator/Developer or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator/Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
